Transition St. Agnes Film night – 9th December, 2011

Transition St. Agnes will be showing four short films on Friday, 9th December, 2011 at the Miners & Mechanics Institute at St. Agnes, beginning at 7.00 p.m.

 

 

Free tea and biscuits at the Community Solar Day !

Here is your opportunity to come along to St. Agnes School on 12th November and see the new array of PV units which are now providing an income for the school.  Talk to the installers, find out how much energy the system has generated, and look at some of the other projects that Transition St. Agnes is supporting.  Refreshments are free, but we will not try to dissuade you from making a donation if you wish.

Victorian Fayre 2011

Thanks to everyone who helped and supported the stall at the Victorian Fayre.  The sale of various second-hand items and Jez’s plant sale extravaganza raised just over £200 for group funds, and lots of lucky people got to take home their purchase in a mors bag made by the St Agnes Stitchers, so well done everyone. And thanks to Aaron for the great sign! Next meeting is Tues 5th July, 7.30pm in the Miners & Mechanics.

It’s the St Agnes Victorian Fayre  this Bank Holiday Monday 30th May – come and visit us at our stall to find out about Transition St Agnes activities, pick up a plant or two from Jez’s magnificent plant sale and get yourself a shopping bag from the marvellous Mors Bag makers!
